Wellwall's where the werewolves wear the whitest of wind westward bound,
Wellwall's where the faeries frolic through the forest faster than the eye can see,
Here is where the lost seek truth, healing and a home not yet found,
Here is where the found are bound by the faerie's false promises of grace and glee

Wellwall's where the ghouls and goblins graze on the ghastliest, garish beasts,
Wellwall's where the vampires visit the veins of every host of viable girth,
Here is where the fallen hearts will find sustenance, of a dark and feral feast,
Here is where the darkness goes to prove its intentions run deeper than "worth"


Now the faerie we observe today rarely had a word to say,
But her prowess and powerfully peaceful face
Often found solace in the good and grace
Of souls seeking refuge in this fallen land;
Beds in the rushes and homes in the sand
Of where her power met the ocean's roar,
Where her prowess meant nothing more
Than dirt and ground below the weight
Of the seven seas full of the brash and great
Faeries of water and faeries of ice,
The second of which weren't very nice
So she decided to pay the dearest price
For entry to their wavering home,
To seek out where her mother'd grown,
For while she wore the earth's green crown,
Her parents were from much deeper down,
Down upon the ocean floor,
Deep within the earth's great core
She hoped to find an answer there
In the lands deprived of sun and air;

She waded towards the water's wake
Fearing deeply for her power's sake
Her toes tingled with the trickle of waves
As they receded back into her Father's grave
Her heart beat harsh with wavering worth
As she traveled deep into the bowels of earth
By passage of a trench in the ocean floor
A daunting darkness she'd ne'er known before
Enveloped in an element of wayward wrath
She dared not linger to savor its aftermath
So her journey took her further into the underworld
The dreads and demons embedded in her mother's curls
And a flash of memory struck as an underwater quake
Thrashed and crashed and bashed her to break
Under the flood of nostalgia, overwhelmed by fate
She knew they sensed her presence, the great
And mighty Lords of lava, fire and brimstone
Though surrounded, she'd ne'er felt so alone
So small before their fiery fervor, dare she even ask?
Magma and majesty, it was just enough to bask


Her roots ran deep and wide in this place
So far fallen from any form of grace
But there was beauty in the destructive might
Of the smoldering, smoking silver stalagmite
That lay above the kingdom of Cane;
For a second she felt she was truly insane
But knew it was due to such familiar terrain
Though she'd ne'er dare tread it again
Home was here in this primal palace of peace
The serenity that fell when her mother's heart ceased
She knew not the cause of such a great demise
But the power was reignited in her eyes
The same as her mother's, like emerald fire
Common as copper, but burned with desire
She then knew her answers were far beyond grasp
Some questions were ne'er meant to be asked
But nothing would stop her path of faith
Not ev'n the gaze of legion of wraith
Her being burned deep with a singular blaze
She'd search this out to the verge of a craze

The Lords of Lava gave her audience that night
Much to her sick and twisted delight
For she'd concocted a plan to outwit and out do
Any possible test they might put her to
For the spirit her parents divinely conceived
Was held in the power of a single reed
But borne deep within her barren breasts
Water and fire stirred strongly in her chest
For these elements embodied all she could be
And together formed earth to set her free
From the pain of waging that war all her days
Though the battle resided in her very gaze
So she'd have them believe the reed held it all
Only to release her power in the season of Fall
And freeze every river while the sun was distant
To minimize the warmth of fire's vicious and vibrant
Power to burn her nature's green to the ground
A season where wind is the only sound
To bring slow death to not one, but all life
Till winter set in to end the terrible strife

So she returned to Wellwall after breaking the laws
Of nature, man, and any probable cause
To create the season of suffering in fall
But irony stands to the beauty of it all
The orange, maroon, brown and gold
Seem to brighten the world, despite the cold
And strangely resemble the colors of fire's dance
So come along if you have the chance
To see this wondrous and magnificent time
'Cause fall is the rhythm to winter's rhyme
Just as spring is the radiant reason
For summer's hot and humid season
So let earth sing you her glorious song
If you dare, try to sing-a-long
'Cause her love for the life and the beings of earth
Far surpasses every mother's deepest worth
For she is the greatest mother we'll ever know
The seasons are the gifts she so lovingly bestows
On her greatest creation since the dawn of time
We are the reason for nature's rhyme
